Dahlias | "Georgina" - Almost Gone!

Dahlias | "Georgina" - Almost Gone!

from $40.00

Dahlias are one of the darlings of the flower world, and we must admit, they’re one of our favourites at The Doctors’ Flowers!

Known as “Georgina” in many parts of Eastern Europe, Dahlias are summer flowers that are normally in season from late December to April. Ours are grown just outside Melbourne in the Dandenong Ranges.

Dahlias make the perfect gift for people who love seasonal flowers and insta-worthy blooms, and are one of our best-sellers on Valentine’s Day.

Leave the colour choice to us, or note your preference at checkout and we’ll do our best!

Vase Life: around 4-7 days depending on the variety, but what they lack in longevity they more than make up for with their luscious beauty.

Care Instructions: You can extend the vase life of Dahlias by easily plucking out any petals around the edge that have turned. Change water (to prevent bacteria) and re-cut stems at 45 degree angle (to help drink) every 2 days. Place flowers away from direct sunlight, drafts and heating. Let Vitamin Nature help you feel good!
